Activate Open-BankID

You can claim access to the Trust Console by first registering a Universal Access Identity known as Open-BankID.

Activating Open-Bank ID requires you to create a borderless Trust Account. This is your membership account known as residency.

Once activated, you can generally use Open-BankID to login any digital public services including Open-Bank Trust Console, where you can manage your wallet and social finance contracts.

In most cases, you shall be asked to pay the yearly membership fee for a local fiscal association, which maintains network access in your region.

If your affiliate organisation has paid for you, you shall be asked to do a card verification.

All Trust accounts require that a natural person be registered as a nominee or custody owner, who will administer the account.

  • For E Residency accounts, a human is the owner.
  • For Org Residency accounts, the organisation must register a representative.

To activate Open-BankID, the nominee must self verify themselves using Self Verification. Read more.

When registering, you must select an account sub-type:

Standard: Social credit withdrawal only on human review.

Premium: Social Credits Auto withdrawal from Trust treasury.

The type of residency- Standard or Premium claim depends on the regulatory bundles applicable to your tax residency. Read about the account type available in your country or region.

After creating your login credentials and verifying your identifiers, your Open-BankID is activated and is ready to use.

The Self Verification is on autopilot, and therefore if your self verification fails and is picked up for manual review, your activation will be suspended.
